Thinking About It

I don't know about you, but I always think through almost every situation that I think or that I'm planning to happen, I think of what I would say, what they would say, and then a really smart comeback or opinion afterwards. This is the problem; it never plays out the way I think it will. The person responds in a different way so I can't say the really clever part I thought of the night before or, the whole topic never comes up. So most of the time I end up really regretting the whole conversation. So if you're like me, think through it (or don't) but remember that the whole conversation was in the past, and it really doesn't matter anymore.

This is a link to a post on Sam Moffatt's blog that I found interesting: http://pasamio.com/2010/03/24/problems/

In the End

This post might be a little depressing, but true. QUESTION.When someone does something you don't like, what do you do? QUESTION.When people are spreading rumors about you or others, what do you do? QUESTION.When you don't know what to do, what do you do? ANSWER.It really doesn't matter, I suggest trying your best but, in the end it all just goes away. Eventually everything will go away (except maybe cockroaches) so just bear through it. (I told you it would be depressing)

Swearing

Why do people swear? All words in every language were, long ago (or not so long ago) made up, by people, like us. So who is the idiot who made up these words, why did everyone use them and still use them now? How would someone even think of something like that? And why do adults swear and then not expect their kids or children around them not to use them and punish them if they do. And why would it be a good thing by not swearing, it's just made up, EVERYTHING was just made up.

Telling the Truth

You know when your parents used to (or still) say "if you tell the truth, I won't get mad" well, even then I knew that it wasn't true. They WILL get mad even if you tell the truth. The only reason they say that is because they KNOW you're not telling the truth (don't ask me how) and they are willing to cover up their anger to know what happened. So how ever old you are, don't do it, or don't fall for it. Because the main reason why kids lie is so that no one gets mad at them, and they don't have to face the consequences.
